I offer a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you can explore what’s on your mind without fear of judgment or expectation. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling in relationships, or simply needing space to breathe and reflect, I’m here to walk alongside you as you find a way forward that feels right for you.

When life feels overwhelming, therapy offers support and steadiness when little else can.
Therapy is a place to reconnect with yourself, to rediscover that you are the creator of your own story, and to learn to trust your own voice. It is, at its heart, a journey back to being your truest self.
Sometimes, as we get older, we learn to shape ourselves around other people — their needs, expectations, and feelings about us. Over time, this can make it harder to notice what we truly feel, want, or believe, because we’re so used to looking outward first.
Counselling can be a space to gently turn back toward yourself, to begin trusting your own inner compass again. Not by shutting others out, but by including yourself in the picture with the same care and importance you give to those around you.

I work with people facing a variety of challenges, including, but not limited to:

• In person in Banstead and Epsom
• Online via secure video call
I offer a brief initial chat (10–15 minutes) where we can discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’d like to explore, and whether we both feel like a good fit.

I’m Jennie — a qualified counsellor with a background in psychology, counselling and a passion for supporting people through life’s challenges. Before retraining, I spent 10 years working in finance and telecommunications in the City, so I understand the pressures of corporate life and how they can affect wellbeing and relationships.
As a parent, I also understand the ups and downs of family life — from the early years through to the teenage stage. These experiences shape the way I work and help me bring empathy, understanding, and practicality into the therapy room.
I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences.
In our work together, you’ll find a warm, accepting space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what’s unfolding. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you, helping you reconnect with your strengths and move forward with greater clarity, confidence and ease.

My counselling approach is integrative, drawing on person-centred therapy, psychodynamic theory, and CBT. This flexibility allows me to tailor sessions to meet your individual needs.
Therapy provides a confidential, non-judgmental place to share thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express elsewhere. Sometimes emotions emerge gently, and other times like a river breaking its banks — always within an atmosphere of care and acceptance.
My role isn’t to give advice, but to sit with you as you explore your experiences and make sense of them. Whether you’re working through emotional struggles, building resilience, or strengthening relationships, I aim to offer a compassionate, grounded space to support your growth.
Over the years, I’ve developed a particular interest in supporting women during the perimenopausal, menopause and midlife stages — offering space to explore the emotional, relational, and physical changes that can accompany these transitions.
This season of life can sometimes feel overwhelming — a swirl of emotions, responsibilities, and questions about identity and purpose. Yet it can also be a deeply meaningful time of growth, self-discovery, and renewal.
